EasyPaisa to USDT — how it actually works

The 30-second answer

EasyPaisa doesn't hold or sell crypto. The standard route is:

1. You have PKR in EasyPaisa
2. Open Bybit P2P (or Binance P2P)
3. Filter for sellers who accept EasyPaisa
4. Send PKR from your EasyPaisa to theirs
5. USDT releases to your exchange wallet via escrow

Time: ~30 min first time (mostly KYC), ~5 min per subsequent trade.

EasyPaisa vs JazzCash — does it matter?

Honestly, no. Both work the same way for P2P. Pick based on:

• Which app you already have PKR in
• Which app has better network reliability in your area (signal-strength matters less than it used to but still varies in some regions)
• Seller availability — both have plenty of sellers on Bybit and Binance in 2026

Some users keep both apps; cycle whichever has the better rate/seller availability that day.

What you need

• EasyPaisa wallet with PKR
• CNIC (for exchange KYC)
• Smartphone
• ~30-45 min first time (mostly KYC waiting)

Step 1 — Bybit account + KYC

Same as our full Bybit guide — sign up at bybit.com, complete CNIC KYC (front, back, selfie). Bybit typically approves Pakistani KYC within 24h.

Step 2 — P2P filters

Bybit app/web → Buy Crypto → P2P → Buy USDT:

• Fiat: PKR
• Payment Method: EasyPaisa
• Amount: enter how much PKR

Step 3 — Pick a seller (trust filters)

Standard filters:

• Completion rate ≥ 95%
• ≥ 200 lifetime trades
• Avg release time ≤ 15 min
• Account age ≥ 90 days

If the seller's rate is far below the rest of the market (e.g., everyone at Rs. 286/USDT and this one at Rs. 270), it's almost certainly a scam setup. Pick a seller at market.

Step 4 — Order + payment

Click on the seller, enter PKR amount, click Buy. Bybit locks the seller's USDT in escrow and shows you the seller's EasyPaisa number + exact PKR to send.

Open EasyPaisa → Send Money → Mobile Account → enter the seller's number → enter the EXACT amount Bybit showed.

Critical: verify the recipient name shown by EasyPaisa matches the name on the Bybit seller's profile. If they don't match, cancel immediately.

Confirm send. Screenshot the EasyPaisa success page (showing recipient name + amount + transaction ID).

Step 5 — Mark as paid

Bybit → click Transferred, Notify Seller. Paste the EasyPaisa transaction ID in the chat to speed up the seller's verification.

Step 6 — USDT released

Typically 2-15 min. EasyPaisa transfers are instant on the receiving side, so most sellers release quickly once they see the notification.

EasyPaisa limits (verify current in app)

• Basic account daily limit: ~Rs. 25,000-50,000
• Verified account daily limit: ~Rs. 500,000
• Per-transaction max varies by tier

If you regularly trade above your limit: upgrade to verified tier (CNIC submission, ~24-48h approval) or use bank transfer for larger amounts.

Total cost example

On a Rs. 25,000 EasyPaisa-to-USDT trade in 2026:

• EasyPaisa send fee: usually free for Plus accounts, Rs. 25-30 for basic accounts
• P2P spread above interbank: ~Rs. 300-450 (1-1.8%)
• Bybit P2P buyer fee: zero
• Total: ~1.3-2.0% of trade value

If something goes wrong

Same playbook as JazzCash:

1. Wait 10-15 min for EasyPaisa settlement on seller's side
2. Share screenshot + transaction ID in Bybit chat
3. If still no release after 30 min → click Appeal in Bybit. Customer service force-releases on verifiable payment evidence.

Disputes overwhelmingly favor the buyer when screenshot evidence is clean.
